Sound Design and Mixing based in Austin TX
The fight between Bowser and Dr. Eggman with dialogue and SFX only from the 2024 season of Death Battle! I was the sole sound designer and mixer on this episode (and any of the 2024 and beyond Death Battles). A handful of classic Mario and Sonic SFX appear (as it'd be wrong not to have some homage in a nostalgia-fest) but hopefully they surprise you in how they're incorporated into my blend of fresh Death Battle sounds I've created over the years with synthesis and recordings. Re-recording mix reel taken from our RWBY Vol 9 MASA Awards submission (which we were selected as a finalist). Though I also participated in the sound design for many of these scenes including designing all of the cat magic from my own cat's recordings!
